Affiliate Terms

1. Joining

The Program is open to anyone with a Meridian account. You get a referral code and link when you join. We may decline, pause or remove any affiliate account at our discretion, including for a breach of these terms.

2. Referral credit

• A new member is credited to you when they open your link and create a Meridian account within the link window (60 days by default) in the same browser.
• The first affiliate credited for a member keeps that member. Credit is never moved to another affiliate.
• You cannot refer yourself, an account you control, or an account connected to the same eBay store as your own.
• Existing members cannot be credited after the fact.

3. Commissions

You earn a commission on every subscription payment a member you referred makes to Meridian, for as long as they remain a paying member. The base rate is 15 percent. Your rate increases as your lifetime referred revenue reaches higher tiers, shown in your affiliate dashboard, and a tier once reached is never lost. We may agree a custom rate with you, which replaces the tier rate for future payments.

Commissions are calculated on the amount actually paid, excluding taxes. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the related commission is reversed, and any amount already paid may be deducted from future commissions.

We may change rates or tiers for the future with notice. Changes do not reduce commissions already earned.

4. Payouts

• A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it is based on.
• Payouts are made through Stripe to the account you connect from your affiliate dashboard, generally once a month, once your payable balance reaches the payout minimum ($25 by default). Balances below the minimum carry over.
• Payouts are currently available only to affiliates who can receive payments to a United States bank account through Stripe. Commissions still accrue while you finish setup.
• Any commission reversed after it was paid (because of a refund or dispute) is deducted from your next payout.
• Stripe collects the tax information it needs (such as a W-9 or W-8BEN) and issues any required tax forms. You are responsible for your own taxes.
• We may hold payouts while we review suspected fraud or a breach of these terms.

5. Honest promotion and disclosure

You agree to promote Meridian truthfully and to comply with applicable advertising and consumer-protection laws (including, in the United States, the Federal Trade Commission's endorsement and testimonial guidelines) and the rules of any platform you post on. In particular, you will:

• clearly and conspicuously disclose your financial relationship with Meridian in your content;
• disclose that you may earn a commission through your referral link or code;
• give honest opinions and describe only genuine experiences with the Service;
• not make false, misleading, deceptive, or unsupported statements about Meridian or its features.

6. No guarantees or unsupported claims

You must not promise or imply guaranteed results. In particular, you agree not to state or suggest guaranteed revenue, profit, sales, income, marketplace approval, account safety, or protection from marketplace enforcement. Results depend on many factors outside anyone's control, and Meridian does not guarantee outcomes.

7. No false affiliation with eBay or others

You must not claim or imply that Meridian is affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with eBay or any other marketplace or brand. Meridian is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.

8. Prohibited marketing practices

You agree not to engage in:

• spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or deceptive email or SMS practices;
• impersonating Meridian, its team, or other people or brands, or suggesting you are Meridian staff;
• misleading, false, or clickbait advertising, or fake reviews and testimonials;
• bidding on or misusing Meridian's trademarks, brand terms, or domain in paid search or ads, or registering confusingly similar domains or handles;
• cookie stuffing, forced clicks, self-referrals, sign-up incentives we have not approved, or any other manipulation of tracking or attribution.

9. Compliance with laws and platform rules

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and the terms and policies of every platform, network, and marketplace you use to promote Meridian. You are solely responsible for your content and marketing activities.

10. Suspension and ending participation

We may suspend or end your participation in the Program, withhold or reverse commissions, and disable your links or codes at any time for any violation of these Affiliate Terms or applicable law, or for conduct that we reasonably believe harms Meridian, its users, or third parties. If we remove you for a breach of these terms, unpaid commissions may be forfeited. Otherwise, commissions already earned remain payable under section 4.

You may leave the Program at any time by contacting us.

11. General

You are an independent party, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of MeridianBot LLC. We may update these Affiliate Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and your continued participation after an update means you accept it.
